Bartosz Lewandowski, Ph.D

Managing Partner, advocate, and Doctor of Laws. He graduated with honors from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw in 2012. From 2013 to 2014, he completed his general legal training at the National School of Judiciary and Public Prosecution (KSSIP), where he interned at prosecutors’ offices and common courts in Warsaw, gaining hands-on experience in law enforcement and the justice system.

From 2014 to 2016, he completed his legal training at the Warsaw Bar Association, and in 2017, he passed the bar exam (Warsaw Bar Association). He holds a PhD in law and completed his full-time doctoral studies at the Institute of Jurisprudence, Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Warsaw, where he conducted research and taught in the fields of sociology of law, legal and political doctrines, and legal theory.

He is the author of publications on substantive and procedural criminal law, legal history, and legal theory and philosophy. He has published in prestigious national and international academic journals, including “Państwo i Prawo” and “Przegląd Sejmowy.” His scholarly work also examines the legal aspects of the role of court experts in procedural practice, as exemplified by books he edited, such as “The Position and Role of the Expert in the Polish Legal System” (Warsaw 2016) [original Polish title: “Pozycja i rola biegłego w polskim systemie prawnym”] and “The Constitutional Court of Czechoslovakia in the Years 1920-1939” (Warsaw 2020, Constitutional Tribunal Publishing House) [original Polish title: “Sąd Konstytucyjny Czechosłowacji w latach 1920-1939”].

Since 2013, he has been actively involved in non-governmental organizations that focus on promoting economic freedom, free speech, and protecting the constitutional order.

In 2021, he was ranked 25th among the most influential lawyers of 2020 by Dziennik Gazeta Prawna. In a special category by Tygodnik Solidarność, he received the 2024 Social Award named after Blessed Father Jerzy Popiełuszko.
